Nutrace®
Nutrace® is Skretting's food safety and quality system. This unique concept integrates measures to ensure quality and safety from raw materials through to finished products.
Nutrace® has four major features — Certified Quality, Monitoring, Risk Management and Tracking & Tracing.
Certificated Quality:
To ensure that Skretting's activities are conducted to high and consistent standards, our manufacturing facilities are certified according to the ISO 9001 standard concerning quality control procedures and customer satisfaction. Skretting is also HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points) certified. HACCP methodology identifies significant risks related to food safety at important points in the production sequence. Procedures are implemented to contain and minimize those risks.
Monitoring
:
Skretting's monitoring program is applied equally at all production plants, using the same sampling and analytical techniques. For every substance to be monitored an optimum analytical technique is identified together with the names of laboratories, inside the company or external, that are competent to conduct the analysis. Results are shared between Skretting businesses to provide a worldwide overview as well as batch-by-batch information.
Risk management
:
Risk analysis identifies potentially vulnerable stages in the production sequence. Practical precautions minimize the risks and action plans are in place to follow any unforeseen event.
Tracking & Tracing:
Accurate and accessible records of all raw materials, production and deliveries are essential. Skretting has invested significantly in comprehensive tracking and tracing as a safeguard for such eventualities.
